Indian Springs Day Camp offers various camp activities that are sure to be great fun for all campers!
Archery
Where better to hone your bow and arrow skills than at Indian Springs archery range? Campers learn the safety skills, as well as how to knock, draw, and loose to become the perfect archer! Can your camper make a bullseye? We bet they can!
Arts & Crafts
Campers will explore various artistic mediums and create masterpieces with paint, fuse beads, gimp, and more. We also host 2 tie-dye days where campers can create their own unique t-shirt!
Athletics Grounds
Campers will have every opportunity to explore and grow in their athletic abilities with our robust offerings. The grounds include distinct areas for street hockey, volleyball/newcombe, baseball/kickball, soccer, basketball, mini golf, dodgeball, and Gaga (a camper favorite!).
Boating & Fishing
Another camper favorite! At our beautiful lake, campers can choose to get on the water with a paddle boat, tow boat or relax on our NEW dock to see who can reel in the BIGGEST fish!
FREE CHOICE Wednesday
Every Wednesday morning, your camper will get to choose their activities during our popular FREE CHOICE morning. Whether it is extra time fishing, making more art projects at Arts & Crafts or playing their favorite sport, every camper loves Wednesdays!
Camp Cookout every Wednesday!
Instead of eating lunch in the cafeteria, campers eat outside at one of our many picnic tables overlooking our beautiful campgrounds while our Camp Directors grill hamburgers on our large outdoor grill for campers and staff alike!
Horseback Riding
Your camper can sign up for Horseback riding (at the time of registration), and they will be safely transported to Fox Meadow Farm where they will learn to ride and care for horses. Each camper signed up will ride 8 times over the summer.(*Extra cost and limited enrollment)
Instructional Swim/Free Swim
Campers work hard every morning in Instructional Swim taught by our certified lifeguards. Your camper will feel a sense of pride and accomplishment as they move up to the next fish “school” mastering new swim skills along the way. Every afternoon, campers will have time to enjoy our pools (complete with water slide and diving board) during free swim.
Music/Dance
Music is led by our extremely talented music teacher, who exposes the campers to a variety of songs, choreographs dance routines, and leads a number of other movement-driven activities!
Nature
From exploring the many trails and creeks at camp to planting a camp garden (new in 2024) to hatching ducklings, campers will experience nature in all its wonder!
Rock Wall
Campers are so excited when it is time to climb our rock wall! Our staff is trained by certified rock wall instructors every summer to ensure that your camper is safe at all times. It is a sight (and sound) to behold watching your camper climb to new heights while being cheered on by their friends!
Sports Clinic
Sports clinic is an opportunity for your camper to receive focused training and practice in one of our major athletic activities. The main goal is to allow campers practice and have opportunities to improve on needed skills that they can use to succeed in our Honeydew and Watermelon Leagues.
Zip Line
Hold onto your harness as campers get to experience the fun and thrill of coasting down our zip line! New in 2024 is our brand new zip line platform.
Other Offerings for Younger Campers
We have two playgrounds to swing and climb, a large pirate ship to explore and imagine, chalk art, Legos, parachute games and so much more!
Rainy Day Fun Too!
Rain doesn't stop us at Indian Springs from still having fun. Safety is always our #1 priority and when the weather calls for indoor activities we have LOTS to keep our campers busy and having FUN.
